Will you Do Something Beautiful? Inspire a child to make art.

Our Board Chair, Belinda Roll, and her husband Ferrill will match your donation to Young Audiences dollar for dollar up to $100,000. “After the divisiveness of the election, we invite you to join us and do something beautiful: inspire a child to make art,” they shared.

Our programs serve all children but our fundraising efforts serve those in need. Half of our $3 million budget is from donations and those funds serve children in schools that cannot afford arts education programs.  A gift to Young Audiences is an investment in a future generation that celebrates diversity, creativity and compassion. Every day, teaching artists work to strengthen cultural understanding and empathy, helping our children to express their humanity and understand their world.

Give to encourage connection and unity, transforming the lives of the thousands of children we serve each year, like:

• Jayden, a young boy with Down Syndrome, connects with his peers as he shares dance moves learned with teaching artists Hip Hop Fundamentals
• Refugee children from Myanmar learn pantomime, enabling them to communicate with classmates for the first time since coming to the US
• A teen struggling with depression agrees to counseling after a teaching artist shares a poem about a young man rising above life’s challenges
• Middle schoolers unite to transform a space into a stunning mural that celebrates their diversity and heritages to become the centerpiece of their new outdoor classroom
