Young Audiences Elects Barbara Moran Trustee Emeritus
Young Audiences (YA) is pleased to announce that Barbara Moran has been elected Trustee Emeritus by a unanimous vote of the Board of Trustees.

Moran served as a YA trustee for 15 years. Throughout her tenure on the YA board, she co-chaired the Capital Campaign, a 3-year project that raised $3.3 million and established the endowment and scholarship funds. She served on numerous committees and in the vice chair role. Moran served as the first chair of the Arts United committee, setting YA on a new course to embrace equity and transform the organization. Her last duty before her final term ended was leading the 50th Anniversary Campaign, raising $5 million.
Moran’s professional career included roles as the Executive Director of the New Jersey State Museum, the New Jersey Cultural Trust, and the NJ State Council on the Arts. She serves as a trustee and Vice Chair of the Board of the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, as well as a trustee of Arts Ed New Jersey. Moran earned an undergraduate degree in Theatre from Murray State University and a Master’s degree in Theatre and Communications from Bowling Green State University. She is a proud resident of Trenton, NJ.
