

Aii provides arts education programming to Trenton schools at no cost. All programming aligns with NJDOE emphasis on arts education as a core subject, nurturing creativity, critical thinking and cultural understanding. Choose programming that enriches your school’s curriculum and activates community belonging.
Programming can include:
- Planning and support with teachers, selected teaching artist, and a Young Audiences education staff member
- Performances for the whole school; up to 250 students per performance
- Artist Residency that provides multi-day hands-on art making workshops serves 3-4 classes/day; up 25 students per class
- Professional Learning that supports educators in meeting curriculum standards by proving innovative creative teaching strategies and arts integration connections.
- Community Arts & Creativity workshops activates community engagement by inviting students and their caregivers to enjoy the arts.
- Workshop & Professional Learning materials to support art making and sustained creative practice.
- A culminating event to promote community belonging.
- Program assessment that illuminates the joy and effectiveness arts learning has on student growth.
These programs are all Trenton Board of Education-approved.

The Arts Impact Initiative is offered FREE to all Trenton Public Schools Grades K-9! The programs may be valued up to $4,500. Trenton Board of Education approved.
