Stacy Mattia Elected Board Chair
At the November 16 board meeting, Stacy Mattia was elected Board Chair, replacing Colleen Foy, who stepped down to pursue a new role and relocation at M&T Bank.
Stacy has been a YA trustee since 2017 and a vice chair since 2020. She chairs the Committee on Trustees and serves on the Dazzle committee. She joined the board after winning the YA Disco Ball Trophy at YA’s Dancing with the Stars-style gala in 2016.
Stacy’s leadership and dedication to YA have been critically important as YA managed through the pandemic. “As we celebrate our 50th Anniversary, the staff and board of Young Audiences are thrilled to have Stacy’s enthusiastic and passionate leadership,” stated Michele Russo, YA’s President & CEO.“I’m looking forward to leading such an extraordinary organization alongside our dedicated Board of Trustees and staff members. We are grateful to Colleen Foy and her service to YA over her tenure, especially her leadership with our diversity, equity, and inclusion work,” Stacy shared.
Stacy is a Senior Vice President in OceanFirst Bank’s Princeton commercial lending office with 32 years of commercial banking experience. She is actively involved in the community, serving as a board member of Young Audiences and former Chair of the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce. Stacy received the Mary Jo Codey Award from the Family Guidance Center. Stacy graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in economics.
