The Artists in Education (AIE) Program has been bringing teaching artists and educators together in
powerful long-term residencies for over 42 years. The Artists in Education Residency grant program places practicing professional artists in long-term residencies (20+ days) in schools across the state. Residencies are offered in all disciplines including the visual, literary and performing arts and at all grade levels.
Apply for one of our grants and experience how an AIE residency can help your school and district fulfill its goals and objectives for student performance, professional development, and community-building in and through the arts. An invaluable arts experience that can help prepare your students for the competitive world of the 21st century is within reach.
o Any New Jersey Public, Charter, Private, or Parochial School is eligible to apply
o Serving grades Pre-K through 12th
o Attend one of our FREE Technical Assistance Workshops
o Documentation of NJDOE Professional Development hours will be issued for attending
