Artist Residency Grants Available to All New Jersey Schools!

Apply for an Artists in Education Grant Today!

The Artists in Education Residency Grant Program (AIE) places highly qualified professional artists in classrooms for 20 days or more during the school day through a program of residency grants. Any New Jersey public, private, charter, or parochial school serving grades PreK-12 is eligible to apply. AIE works directly with the schools and the artists, giving students and teachers the opportunity to engage in and learn about the creative process.

Applications for the 2019-2020 school year are now available.

“When we reflect on the impact of this AIE residency, we think specifically of certain students who may not have the opportunity to excel in academics. We saw these students come alive in their performances and then carry that high energy into their classwork.”

– Mark Quiles, Principal, Seth Boyden Demonstration School in Maplewood
