Redefining Success – Arts Impact Victories
They come in all shapes and sizes. They are comments on a survey, in bits of conversation, a handwritten letter from a student to a teaching artist, or in a quick email. We are referring to stories about the impact our teaching artists have on the lives and learning of children. In fact, we hear about so many moments that we’ve coined a new term: Arts Impact Victory, or AIV for short.
While assessment is critical (and a big part of our new 3-year strategic plan), we want to capture ALL the victories that mark the countless ways arts learning impacts children.
Victories are moments of joy, awakening, and understanding worth celebrating:
We hope you’ll think about your own Arts Impact Victories—a moment that changed your perspective or connected you to creativity. We’d love to hear from you—call us, email us, or post about your moment on social media and use #ArtsImpactVictory.
Please give a generous donation to Young Audiences. Your generosity helps make these victories happen for children throughout New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania.
On behalf of the more than 300,000 children we serve, thank you!
