Artistic Sculpture
Description
In this virtual workshop, students will work with paper materials to create three-dimensional sculptures. This creative process is linked to other content areas. Students draw on their imaginations, the principles of science, engineering and contemporary and historical artistic practices. Triada’s approach helps students learn how to connect creative practices with academic success. This workshop places priority on students’ social and emotional learning goals, culturally responsive teaching and learning needs, and the application of relevant practices in educational technology.
Students will:
- engage in the creative process of creating sculpture.
- conceptualize, generate, organize and develop ideas.
- respond and analyze a variety of work samples.
- connect their creative process by synthesizing and relating knowledge and personal experiences to create and critique work.
