In this workshop, teachers and related services professionals will learn up to three process-based art making techniques which foster social skills, encourage social-emotional learning, and encourage life skills. Exploration and learning will be inspired by techniques that nurture student engagement, reflection, and revision through an experimental approach. This workshop will highlight the meditative, healing, and learning aspects of collaborative art making. Teachers will identify opportunities to talk about methods embedded to create this experience to meet their own classroom learning objectives.
