Description
In this dynamic and fun, hands-on workshop, fine art photographer Erik James Montgomery introduces students to both historic and contemporary photographic practices while building visual literacy and creative confidence. Engagement options include digital photography, self-portraits, photo-collages, light painting, editing techniques, pinhole cameras, photograms, and darkroom printing. Students learn to think critically about images and express their perspectives with intention. Programs can be customized for short workshops or extended residencies and arts-integrated to align with specific subject matter or curriculum goals.
