Trekking Mexico
Entertaining, educating, and exciting, the Mexico Beyond Mariachi experience ignites the imagination. Expand your students’ perceptions of Mexico through the artists’ use of pre-colonial instruments and traditional interpretations of music and dance. Students learn how native cultures and Spanish culture combined to create a unique Mexican culture of music, dance, and costuming. Students come away with a fresh and authentic perspective of Mexican culture. (North of Toms River, NJ only)

Wooden floor, access to performance space 45 minutes in advance. Please provide sound plus 2-3 mics on stands to set up, a clean swept stage or performance area, dressing room or area out of view of the audience, 2 small desks or tables, one six foot long folding table, 6 chairs, and 5 bottles of water. Cart to transport equipment, parking for 2 vehicles.
