Tta-Kung! Rhythm of Korea
Description
The drums of Korea tell the story of the country. Where is Korea? What language is spoken there? What does its music sound like? What makes it similar to the culture here and what sets it apart? I’ll take students on a journey to answer these questions.
We will have the opportunity to learn about traditional Korean percussion instruments and play them in person. And also by exploring unique rhythms, musical compositions, and other various elements such as costume colors, gestures and Korean language they express, we will discover the distinct characteristics of Korean culture.
