Empathy in Action! For this one-day workshop, students will learn first about shape and color language. We will examine the circle, square, and triangle and how (and why) characters can be developed using just these basic shapes. We then will discuss the symbolism of color, and from there students will pair up to use what they’ve learned. Students will interview their partner and create a character from the answers that their partner gives. And it’s a lot of fun too! This is not only an exercise in visual art and character design, but one in empathy as well!
